Myofunctional Therapy
Restore proper function of the muscles in your face, mouth and neck. Treatment usually consists of 12-15 sessions. Throughout treatment I work hand and hand with other providers such as speech therapist and airway centered dentist to deliver comprehensive care.
Mini Myo Program
This program is for kids that are 3-6 years old that would not be able to sit through a full
12 session program.
This program is usually 1-3 sessions, we will introduce key concepts and make sure that they are set up with other providers, such as orthodontist, dentist and/or ENT.
Habit Elimination
This is an add on service to either myofunctional therapy program. We will incorporate 1 or 2 more visits to help eliminate habits such as thumb/finger/blanket sucking. The reason why this isn't a separate program is due to the fact that there is a reason why kids start sucking on things to begin with, and it is usually a myofunctional disorder.
